"Ogawa no Hotori (At River's Edge)" is the third historical movie based on the novel series set in a fictional domain, Unasaka-han written by Shuhei Fujisawa. This novel has been lauded as one of his most significant works among other works such as "Yamazakura" and "Hana no Ato." Fujisawa is also an author of "The Twilight Samurai," "The Hidden Blade," and "Love and Honor." Stars Noriyuki Higashiyama and Rinko Kikuchi. Plot: Sakunosuke Inui gets an order from his master to kill Sakuma Morie, a samurai who is his friend and his younger sister Tazuru's husband.
